The Martini Glass
Lights and mirrors, amber liquids, rich colors, and glass. Lots of glass. A truly fine bar like the one at 1845 Taste Texas, will pay as much attention to the glassware as they do to the food, the art, and the music. And this kind of attention to detail has only your enjoyment and enhanced experience in mind.
From shots and shooters to beer glasses, wine glasses, cocktail glasses, and whiskey glasses. Dozens of shapes and sizes all designed for a special purpose. And you thought they were just pretty!
Some tall and slender retain bubbles. Rounded bottoms allow your hands to warm brandy while glasses with long graceful stems keep warm hands away from chilled drinks.
The martini glass, timeless and sophisticated, debuted in 1925 in Paris. Its conical shape and wide opening released tantalizing aromatics. Its longer stem maintained the chill. And the slanted sides reduced separation but also provided the perfect backdrop for garnish.
The perfect glass for what many would consider the perfect drink!

Bonnie Parker & The Martini Glass – Made for Each Other
You’ve never had as fine a blend of liquors, smells, and surprises as you’ll experience when you order a Bonnie Parker at 1845 Taste Texas. Here’s what we use -
Western Son Blueberry Vodka - It won the 2017 Sipping Award Gold Medal and no wonder. Think about a bowl of fresh red raspberries and juicy blackberries passing under your nose. And then imagine that first bite of blueberry cobbler. All of this - wrapped into a beautiful blue easy vodka!
Add Grand Marnier, a blend of fine cognac and bitter orange. And imagine these oranges. Picked while still green with their peels set out to dry in the warm sun. Can you imagine the scent in the air as they dry?
Lemoncello, informally nicknamed ‘What’s not to Like,’ is a mix of lemon zest, sugar, water, and vodka.
Squeeze fresh lemon and finally add a splash of Lavender Bitters layering in a light floral scent.
Pour all of this into a sugar-dipped and chilled martini glass. Add fresh blueberries.
Now - THAT’S A PERFECT DRINK!
Our Bonnie Parker, like her namesake and friend, Clyde, will create for you an unforgettable experience!
