The food was delicious! The service was awesome, our drinks were never empty. Everyone was so nice! We will be going back! Oh and leave room for dessert, the dessert sampler is amazing!!!! Dee M.

The Food
Is it the most important measure of a Texas modern steakhouse? Well, I’m pretty sure it is and Bill and his party, in last week, felt 1845 Texas Taste lived up to its name!
Really enjoyed the food, drink, and atmosphere here. The smoked prime rib was phenomenal. Like I’m going to be thinking about that for a while. Steaks, redfish, and jalapeño mac also were popular at the table. Would definitely go back, even though I don’t live in the area. Bill A.
The Beef – Highest Quality in Texas
In order to claim to serve the finest, we have to be sure we source our steaks from the best. Our choice, 44 Farms, in Cameron, TX since 1909, raises thousands of cattle, Black Angus only. And 44 Farms provides Prime and Choice cuts from their stock.
44 Farms, a working ranch, is the largest Black Angus producer in Texas. Their cattle are of the highest quality. They are fed an all-natural diet and remain hormone and antibiotic free. And these cattle are humanely raised from birth to harvest. The ranch, always working to improve the breed, is a registered Black Angus seedstock operation. Quite impressively, their bulls are sold across the country and seedstock is provided throughout the world to improve herds. Wow!

When you pull together Bonnie Parker, Clyde Barrows, and Sam Houston, and then set them around the bar with the likes of Bradshaw Bourbon and Western Son Prickly Pear, you’ve got a lively happy hour started! Those are the cocktails! All you need now is real people!
Texas is well represented in our beers too! Revolver Blood and Honey, Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde, and Lone Pint Brewery Yellow Rose are just a few of our Texas beers.

The appetizers represent Texas well. Our mouth-watering selection of steaks and Smoked Prime will keep you returning.
Best restaurant in DFW by far. I go at least twice a month and the service and food is always top tier. Avrie M.
