The menu at 1845 features 4 Shareable Salads and 3 Entrée Salads. The dressings, like the rubs and sauces, are all a product of our Chef. A little bit of Texas shines through each one at one of the best restaurants in Flower Mound.
Let’s take a look at the 3 of the Shareable Salads featured in the picture above. And, let you’re your server know if you need to make an adjustment to one of these to suit your own food plan.
Classic – The Wedge Salad has an iceberg wedge topped with fresh chopped bacon, red onions, and cherry tomatoes. An 1845 buttermilk vinaigrette pulls it all together.
The House Salad has a few more treats than most house salads! It starts with a fresh-cut salad mix and adds in bright red cherry, freshly grated Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, red onions, chopped hard-boiled eggs, and fresh bacon. You can choose from 8 house dressings.
Another Classic! 1845 Caesar Salad tosses fresh romaine lettuce with house-made Caesar dressing. And then adds freshly grated parmesan cheese and toasted croutons for the perfect precursor to a fine meal.
Mention of The Austin Salad from the Entrée Salad menu is a must! Grilled chicken is served on a bed of chopped kale, shredded red cabbage and carrots, toasted almonds, and cilantro. Always a favorite, it has peanut ginger vinaigrette as the preferred dressing.
Fruit?
Grapes anyone? 1845 has a respectable wine list with, as you would expect, several Texas wineries represented. You’ll also find wines from Napa Valley and several other preferred wine regions. Ask your server for suggestions to compliment your meal.
