Much thought and tasting – and you can only imagine, more than a little fun - went into the creation of 1845’s selections behind the bar. Our bartenders are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable! They and our servers will be happy to make suggestions and answer any questions you might have. They’ll also share some of our more unique offerings.

How do Spires and Whiskey Work Together?

We are featuring Oak & Eden Finished Rye Whiskeys known for their unique, patented finishing. You’ll find the word “spire” in the name and/or description of each of these fine, flavorful whiskeys but, do you happen to know what it means when they say each bottle is finished with a spire? Are you just a little curious?

Here’s the answer - A 5-inch specially selected piece of wood, paired with the various whiskeys, is charred and spiral cut to allow maximum contact. Then, one of these, now called spires, is inserted into each bottle of Oak & Eden Finished Whiskey to further enhance the fully aged liquor. This technique has been patented by Oak & Eden and, according to their website, “inspires” their whiskey, breathing in new life, flavors, and aromas that couldn’t be achieved in a single barrel alone. Ask our bartenders about our selection.

Partnerships

1845 has another unique offering from partnering with Buffalo Trace. The distillery has created a Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Signature Single Barrel, made only for Circle Star brands restaurants. Nothing compares to an 1845 Old Fashioned made with Single Barrel Select from Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Speaking of AMAZING partnerships, partners Marty B (Bryan) and Brian Gasperson have conspired together to establish, through Circle Star Brands, a family of uniquely created brands. 1845 Taste Texas, Marty B’s in Bartonville, and Rustico Wood Fired Grill and Wine Bar, also in Flower Mound, are the first. Circle Star Brands strives - and succeeds - at being an AMAZING company with AMAZING people!
